I posted this same question on tIhe zap2it forum, but i thought it would be prudent to post it here as well since so many of you use zap2it and there is more traffic on these forums.
I currently reside in one of my university's dorms and our TV connection is rather unique. At first I thought it was cable, since we had to hook up a cable from the wall and plug it into our tv. After we had a rather large storm I found out our school does something to convert directv into cable (I noticed that "searching for signal on satellite" error). I've been wracking my mind trying to figure out a way to set up channels to record using my PVR in this situation. For instance, instead of TNT being channel 245, it's channel 57.
I can't figure out what to do, or if it's even possible to do it. Is there a fully customizable schedule that allows you to select which station coincides with each channel? (For instance, instead of TNT being channel 245, i'd like to set it up manualy to be channel 57)
