Freecom DVB-T TV USB Stick

Next I'm going to be trying to get it to run a bit quicker as the performance is stilll reminiscant of arcsoft totalmedia (total sh*te).

If anyone can advise me on how to improve the performance it will be greatly appreciated!

The performance where exactly? Is it something specific that is slow?

If its generally everywhere, what speed is your PC? The recommended minimum is a 1GHz PIII class CPU.

Not sure if it works for your guys but the TUNING_TYPE=DvB-T in the bda.ini has a lower case 'v'. I changed it to upper case and and no longer an error selecting the freecom type2 device....

Argh! You are correct. I havnt noticed that when I cut and pasted the definition another user had posted. I've updated it for the next release.

all set to go but not scanning any channels - picks up signal strength and that's about it. Anyone any ideas?

If you run Chris.Day's scan utility from http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=17633, does it identify any channels?

So The May 2006 version with the New BDA drivers works with GBPVR then? I`m getting a bit sick of using WMP!!

I dont think we've seen any confirmation of that yet, but the typo identified above would definitely have stopped things working, so its a step in the right direction.

Sub, started scanning and picked up a few channels b4 the app crashed.
