Secondary display always has tearing

Well I use an lcd monitor but, also output to a SD TV.

Whenever I play back anything to the secondary monitor whether it be the lcd or sd crt it will have tearing.

The monitor placed on primary will look fine however. This tearing only happens when I use any type of frontend software. If I output with a media player like vlc to both monitors it never occurs.

I tried messing with the decoder settings etc.

I also searched the forums and it seemed like others have this problem but I never saw a specific thread on it.

What sort of video card and video decoder are you using. Also are renderer setting are you using in GBPVR ie. overlay or vmr9 ?

Some cards have issues with dxva disabling when secondary displays are used.

Intervideo that came with windvd but I've tried a bunch of others also including the default intervideo one for the pvr 150, powerdvd etc.

Tried overlay, vmr9 and vmr7.
