The MpegImport utility works well for me, I am developing slide shows (mpg) and use a different system for slide show authoring. Once a chapter is finished I import into GBPVR and can display the results on different TV'S using MVP's. (One TV is 20yrs old the newest is 5 yrs old, good way to see how the slides will look) Ultimately they will be burnt to DVD.
Coupla questions though..........
Does MpegImport alter the original file during import??
My first attempt at import I used the default settings ie: BBC1, show name blank etc. On my second attempt with the "same file", I tried changing the naming settings in your front end - no change.
Does MpegImport always default to BBC1 as the channel number??
"Show Name" what does that do??
I've left the output set to: C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\recording-dump.xml
which works fine for my situation.
Importing 15-20 chapters into GBPVR could get confusing (I could modify my chapter naming conventions) however I thought I would ask.
I'm sure the answers to these questions are here somewhere, however I couldn't find them.
Thanks
