Channel numbers

Ok, I've searched for this first off, but either i'm blind or its not been asked.

How can I setup gbpvr w/mvp so that when I:
1) Show the channel number when I change channels and
2) Show the numbers I'm entering to manually go to a channel.


I'm using the PVR500 with the InterVideo NonCSS decoders, VMR9, and Minimal OSD settings.

The MVP performs very poorly when trying to show OSD graphics when playing video, so by default the 'force minimal OSD for MVP' setting is enabled. You can change this, but it will make channel changing much slower.

Even when I turn off the "Minimal OSD" settings for LiveTV, I dont ever get a display that shows the channel numbers as I'm manually typing them in on the remote.

Thinking about it, I cant remember whether the digits are shown on the MVP. The setting I referred to above controls whether most of the OSD appears on the MVP, but the digits you refer to may have been a special case which I never show on the MVP.
