Hauppauge WinTV-PVR150 w/remote setup issues

Alright, so I recently purchased the parts for a HTPC. I have the Hauppauge WinTV-PVR150 with the 45 button remote. I am having some issues with the remote. First is with the LiveTV. When I click into it, I get an error saying "Found IR Controller (e2)". I am also unable to change channels properly, only volume up and down work correctly. When I am able to change channels, every time I change the channel I get the same error.."Found IR Controller (e2)". Thats when I change each station one at a time, I get that same message.

I also had the problem, that for the remote to work I need the IR software to be running. I checked the box to go directly to the hauppauge software and the fix remote settings button, but no luck.

I also can not listen to any of the web radio channels. It says "Failed to connect to station" for every one.

Also, everytime I close out of the program I get a windows error saying that the program needed to close.

Did I mess up somewhere, I tried re-installing everything but the same things happen. I tried older and newer versions of the Hauppauge software but no luck.

I am using verson 0.97.13 and the latest version of the IR software from the hauppauge site.

That message is generated by the Hauppauge software not GB-PVR, so it sounds like something is wrong with the installation of your Hauppauge software. Its not something I remember seeing discussed in the past, but it might be worth checking on http://www.shspvr.com/smf

That setting is only for PVR250/350 users.

Maybe firewall? Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

I think this is because you're trying to use the direct access to Hauppauge remote setting with a PVR150.
