Thanks guys I have the theater plugin working now. I don't know how I managed to spell that wrong twice but I'm glad I did because it might not have gotten caught otherwise. Have any of you had any of the other problems I listed or know of any solutions for those?

What other plug-ins are you trying? What errors are you experiencing? If you can, run the config program or gbpvr, reproduce the error(s), then zip up and attach all of your log files (*.log in the GBPVR root folder) here and we can take a look to see whats going on.

well I downloaded a bunch of them but I think that if I can get things working on one I can figure it out on the rest. For instance now that I have your theater plugin working I've been able to get it to work on some of the others as well. So, right now I'm trying to work on the green orb skin. I have the tv guide working finally. I just copied the entire tv guide folder from the Blue Skin which is the only one it was functioning on into the green orb folder and it works now. Now I'm trying to get the task images to work. There is a folder for the task images but for some reason they don't show up in the main menu. I thought maybe all I needed to do was copy those images to the folder corresponding to the place that I want them associated with in the main menu but for a lot of the default menu options I don't really see a file for them. It is an advisor skin should I be copying them into the base advisor folder instead of the advisor.greenorb folder?

Did you install the BaseSkin or AdvisorSkin first? Green Orb is a Themepack for either skin.

I originally installed the baseskin but I then downloaded the advisor skin and installed it over the base skin the way it says in the wiki. I will try to find the log files and attach them. I'm at work at right now.

All Advisor ThemePacks should be sub folders in the BaseSkin or the Advisor skin. In each Advisor.XXXX themepack there is a CopyTheme.bat batch file.
Run the batch file and all Themepack images will be copied to the right places. You should never manually copy any skin files to any location.
An easier way is to use the ThemesManager plugin that will execute the CopyTheme bat file from within GBPVR.
All skin files works. There are probably 1000 users that use the BaseSkin/Advisor and no problem reports at all.

I did run them but no task images. I don't know why it is. It loads the themes alright through the themes manager but no task images if I do it that way either. The folder is there with all the images in it it's just not finding them or something. This isn't a huge deal it would just be cool to get them to work.

The only place I get task images is for sports scores and for weather which both have their own images in the individual folders. It may be my error here I'm just trying to figure it out. Could you tell me where to look for the log files by the way? I can't seem to locate them.

In the Advisor\AllTaskImages\ folder, double click on the distributetask images.bat file

If you have a slower computer, gb-pvr is restarting before this batch file runs.

(Edit: "slower" was "very fast", I had it backwards)

Run the CopyTheme.bat manually....if you have problems.
If GBPVR has started before the copytheme.bat file has finished, the icon will not be copied, because GBPVR "locks" the icons.
McBainUK made a ThemeManagerHelper.exe for slow computers and published it on the wiki.
