Does anybody know what video formats are supported by the GB-PVR MVP server? I am playing a .avi video using the standard software but it is not listed in the GB-PVR list.

Thanks.

Just MPEG1/MPEG2 at the moment, which are the native formats supported by the MVP. I havn't had time to look at .avi files yet since Hauppauge started supporting them in their software 6 week or so ago.

Just curious... Seems like the most recent version still does not support .avi files. Is this something on the 'todo' list?

Thanks.

Yes, its still on the list but its quite low priority as I dont personally need this feature.

Believe me, I havn't been sitting arse doing nothing. This is only a part time project, so there is only so many hours per week I can spend implementing new features.

Hi there,

I've just found the GBPVR program. Excellent program. I have a Hauppauge MediaMVP which I am using to output from gbpvr from my PC.

One thing that the standard Hauppauge software has is support to setup NTSC/PAL, 16:9/4:3 ouput on the screen. I can't find these options on the gbpvr software anywhere.

This is a problem as I have some mpeg files that are NTSC (downloaded TV series etc.) and some that are PAL (holiday film from my digital camcorder).

Any ideas if this is coming ?

Thanks,
Roy.

I hadn't intended to do this. The easy place for me to put this sort of setting is in the config app, but I suspect you you want to be change the setting on-the-fly from inside the MVP interface like you can with the Hauppauge software. Unfortunately I dont have a MVP specific settings screen or anything like that...

I'll put it on my list of things to consider. I guess thats a maybe.
