After several hours this has me stumped! GB-PVR recognised the card but fails to find any channels when scanning (UK - North/Borders, Belmont transmitter & also a full scan of all countries etc).

I've tried all the recommended actions in the forums:
  • re-registering filters
  • changing between Microsoft, Cyberlink & Intervideo BDA multiplexers
  • re-registering the Microsoft multiplexer

I've also run ScanChannelsBDA_EZ166.exe, which also found no channels. Over the last 2 days I've managed to use this card successfully with MediaPortal, PowerCinema and Twinhan's own, rather flaky, software - all of which have been able to detect channels.

After reading a good review of GB-RVR in the UK Computer Buyer I thought I'd found the answer to what I was looking for - a fast interface that was relatively easy to set up, worked reliably and didn't cost the earth ......

If someone could please help me realise my dreams I'd be eternally grateful! Smile

Logs attached, including the ScanChannelsBDA_EZ166.exe output.

Thanks in anticipation ........

I think this has caused problems in the past, and the advice that has fixed thing for many people is to uninstall MediaPortal.

Well, MP removed and we're a bit further along the way to my TV nirvana!

Signal strength & quality indicators are appearing during the scan, then a 'no channels found' message appears, followed by 'The Hits' channel playing in the preview box.

Latest logs attached ......

Try running the ReRegisterFilters.bat file.

Thanks for tip - been rather busy last 2 days and only just tried it. I had previously re-registered the files but NOT since removing MediaPortal. All stations now tuned .... but ..... having great difficulty getting the EPG to work, both via DVB and xml - just a blank schedule. Will investigate a few threads to see if I can see where I might be going wrong ...

Thanks for your help so far, guys :-)
