Is the gbpvrrecordingservice running?

task manager says it is running as a process, if thats what you mean?

Yes that's what I meant, when it isn't running you'll get this error too.
It seems like another proces is keeping the tinercard busy.
Hauppauge software?

thanks i had tested a few trials before i found out about gbpvr and i still had the christv agesnt open(must have opened on startup) the problem had gone now. tahnks again

I think you'll find its your firewall software causing your problem. From your logs:
