Which Hauppauge drivers do I really need?

I'm moving to a new PC and want to start with as clean a PC as is reasonable, so I don't want to install un-needed software/drivers.

I have a single PVR150 card, and by the end of the week it will be fed by a Motorola DTC2500 cable box.

I've searched on the forum and there is conflicting info on how much of Hauppauge's software/drivers I need to have. I've downloaded: pvr150_500_basedriver_2043_24103.exe and pvr150_22_23257.exe (the second being labeled on the website as 'middleware')

I'll have a couple of DVD codecs from NERO, WinDVD and ULead installed as part of my other software on the box.

Do I need/want any other software/drivers from Hauppauge? (ie. IR Remote control application or IR Blaster setup program

You will need irremote.ini if you want to control gbpvr with the hauppauge remote. I think you will need the blaster setup program if you want to control your set top box with the pvr-150 blaster.
