AS the subject suggest, I am after a basic sample of how a VB.NET plugin is written so I can start my long journey into programming.

Thanks

Thanks, But I have been going through this and the links from this page the examples in the PDF are for C# and it is really an example for VB.NET that I am after. A older thread mentioned that an old source of the weather plugin was agood example of a VB.NET but unfortunately I cant seem to find an old source anywhere only the latest stuff is available.

Please find a zip file attached containing the original VB and C# weather plugin samples.

Its worth noting that the skinning is a pretty crap in these examples, since it pre-dates the SkinHelper thats used these days, but other than this its a reasonable example.

The C# version was continually enhanced by various users into the Weather plugin that everyone uses today.
