Don't know if this is fixed in a later release, i'm afraid I haven't kept up as the hassle of migrating everything including plug-in's is too much and I have a relatively stable platform however i've just noticed the following behaviour today which doesn't seem right.
I looked in the config programme but didn't make any changes and cancelled out. The recording service had been instructed to stop and not restart.
This seems very wrong. I've long said that there should be a deferred apply but to stop the service when no changes have been made and to not pop up a dialog to say so is wrong behaviour.
Surely the recording service should only be instructed to stop and start if changes have been made and OK is pressed.
David.

I got carried away: 3 DVB-T tuners, a DVB-S tuner, 3 MVP's and 1.1TB of storage space
