Just upgraded to 98.08 and immediately started having an error exiting LiveTV back to the Main Menu "...not set to instance of an object". Clearing the error with OK leaves the system at the Main Menu. Attempting to reenter LiveTV results in an error that there are no tuners available.

The only recover is to exit GBPVR and restart it.

This is known bug in the MyPictures plugin. Delete it form your plugins directory and the problem should go away.

Thanks. That stopped the problem exiting Live TV. strange 'cause I had no problem with it in 97.13.

Anyway I still have the problem of "no tuners avaialbe..." trying to re-enter LiveTV. I see also that others are having this same problem.

My latest logs attached.

Further to this, attempting to enter ad hoc Timeshifting results in error message "Error item has already beed added: key in dictionary ...." and a return to the Main Menu.

I'm on the morning shift for the next hour or so looking after my daughter, but when I'm back in front of my development after that I'll take a look exactly why you're getting this.

Can you see if the attached file helps this problem?

Post your logs for the other problem.

Hey Sub,

I've had the same problem that JSteele had, downloaded the patch and tried to see what's what...

Unfortunately this didn't fix the Live-Tv issue.....

Logfiles included.

Hope you can find this....

Regards,

Can you set the 'auto start MVP servers' to zero then reproduce the problem on your PC and repost the logs? With MVP servers enabled the GBPVR.exe.log only contains MVP messages, which isnt useful in this case.

Are your talking about jsteele's "'no tuners avaialbe...' trying to re-enter LiveTV." problem, or one of the other things he mentioned? The specific error I fixed in that patch related to this. Your logs do not show this same error message that he had in his. This maybe a case of either you havnt supplied the correct logs, or you have some other problem.
