I downloaded the most recent version of gb-pvr (0.98.08) and then tried to install it. I got three errors during the install process (registering files).

1st: Error 1904; c:\ProgramFiles\devnz\gbpvr\GBPVRwriter.ax failed to register. HRESULT = -2147010895

2nd: Error 1904; c:\ProgramFiles\devnz\gbpvr\GBPVRFlowStatus.ax failed to register. HRESULT = -2147010895

3rd: Error 1904; c:\ProgramFiles\devnz\gbpvr\netasyncflt.ax failed to register. HRESULT = -2147010895

I'm running an intel 2.5 gig using XP pro, sp2. I bought it used. the hard drive was wiped clean so there is not a lot of software on it yet. No TV tuner/recorder card is installed yet. Perhaps that's the reason for the errors. Any ideas?

Based on a lot of reading of this web site and others, I plan to get the Hauppauge 500 soon.

Thanks for your help.

I'm just guessing here, but do you have the .net framework 2.0 installed?
if not there is a link on the main gbpvr home page to download it.
