no red OSD bar while recording in timeshift mode

Hi, i just installed the v0.98.8b and im having this issue. While in timeshift mode TV, whenever i start a recording (with Control-k) the OSD bar remains the same. So theres no way to tell if its recording or not (happens when using 'recording until i exit' and also 'for an specified time'). Despite this, recordings work fine.
Also, in timeshift mode, there is no channel name in the osd bar. But i dont know if this is intended or not.
In Live Preview mode everything seems fine to me. I got channel names displayed and while recording the recording file name is displayed in the osd bar.
Oh and im using the deafult Blue skin and no external plugins at all.
Any clue?
