DVB-EPG in background

Is it possible to add the option for automatic dvb-epg updating in the background while using gbpvr?

I probably will add this some time in the future, but this would be quite different from how all the other EPGs operate. It currently behaves the way it does so that it can fit in with existing stuff that the application has been doing for a long time - all the way back to analog only days, before I'd even consider the idea of adding DVB support.

I couldnt tell you a timeframe on this.
