45 Key Remote and Background Mode

It would be realy nice if the 45 key remote would work with GB-PVR when it doesn't have focus.

This is realy the only problem that keeps me looking for a better PVR.

I use the findwindow, then sendmsg commands in the default setting of irremote.ini for ir32.exe that came with the card to get it working in the background. I can provide a list of the commands, though I stole of this website in the first place

It works in the background for most commands. The few that aren't yet mapped, I use ffindwindow, foreground, then the command.

To use the remote to bring GB-PVR back up find the section in the irremote.ini that says

; close current active window; disabled for now

Change - "GO={gomenu()}"

to

GO={run(c:\Progra~1\devnz\GBPVR\GBPVR.exe)}{sleep(750)}{FindWnd(GBPVRWndClass,)}{fgnwn d()}

*** BE SURE TO CHANGE THE PATH TO WHERE EVER YOU INSTALLED GBPVR ***

Now scroll down and find where it says

[GB-PVR]

Change GO to

GO={close(c:\Progra~1\devnz\GBPVR\GBPVR.exe)}

*** BE SURE TO CHANGE THE PATH TO WHERE EVER YOU INSTALLED GBPVR ***

Save and restart the IR service

Voila!!! Hitting the "GO" button now brings up GB-PVR... hitting Go while it's running closes it
