aspect ratio not remembered

Actually, I can tell thats not GB-PVR's aspect ratio stuff doing that because the OSD is also moved up the screen. If you look at the bottom picture, the OSD has a black bar below it.

What video decoder are you using? Some try to do their own auto aspect ratio control (for example, the nvidia decoder needs to be set to anamorphic to avoid this happening).
