Sounds like a good plan. I use a Terratec T USB XS. It seems fine. Native drivers are BDA so no compatibility problems and you can compare just how good GBPVR is to the Terratec Home Cinema software.

My daughter has a Freecom USB stick. Seems fine with the new BDA drivers. Originally found GBPVR when looking for an alternative to the supplied software.
