Emulators W/My programs - No keyboard?

I've got My programs set up and running with FCE Ultra, Zsnes, Mame32, and project 64. Zsnes seems to be giving the best experience because I was able to map one of the joystiq buttons to "exit" and it drops me back to gbpvr where I can use the remote. With the other emulators I wasn't able to find a similar setting. Is there a way to map either one of the remote buttons, or a joystiq button to always exit the emulator, but perhaps not just "alt-f4" since I might accidentlally drop out of gbpvr(minor issue if that's the only solution).

What have other dones as a solution for this? Do you just always have the keyboard handy for exiting/special keys?

what type of remote are you using? if it is configured through irremote.ini then you can set it up to have power be alt+f4 for defaule and something else for gbpvr.

did you check the pprograms for exit shortcuts? they might have a key other than alt + f4 to exit the emulator

I'm using the pvr150 45 button remote. That sounds like a good solution I'll have to play with it tonight.

I did check the other emulators and only Zsnes seemed to have an option in the control config to set a joystick button to something other than one of the game inputs.

You can use a program called Phatsoft JoyMouse 2.1 that with the press of a controller button, turns your gamepad into a mouse. Works great for wireless gamepads!
