Converting GBPVR mpegs to emailable files?

VDmod actually reencodes after making cutpoints, does it not? One advantage to Cuttermaran is no re-encoding. You assign cutpoints on b-frames, it writes the file, and its done. Having never done it the other way ('cept with one avi file), I can't say how much of an advantage that is. But it does seem simpler.

I'm sure for mpeg-editing cuttetmaran works very well. However, it cannot save/convert to avi. This does VD-Mod very well. Afaik if there are sync issues VD-mod mentions them, I doubt, that in the very short clips Pneumoped was planning to make, it would be an issue.
