I just started using GBPVR and after my first recording of a 1/2 hour show, the file it produced was 18+ gigs!? I didn't get to see if this even recorded correctly because the file was too large to load in a player. I have all of the settings for recording set at system default, and the recording was done at medium quality. Any ideas?

If you have a PVR150 and accidentally configure it as a PVR250, this can happen.

If thats not the case, the zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

I do have a Hauppauge PVR 105MCE. I'm pretty sure I have it set as a 150 but I'll check (I'm at work right now so the answer, along with the logs will have to wait).

Ah yes, it was configured as a 150 rather than a 150MCE. No more huge file sizes.

...I do have a slight wiggling or jumping in my recordings. Probably a signal issue but is there anything internal that might cause this?

Thanks for the helpSmile

Yeah, sounds like signal to me.

In the GBPVR config program, go to the playback tab and get into the settings panel for the decoder you are using. If you have hardware acceleration turned on, turn it off. If this fixes your problem, you are hitting the DirectX 9.0c hardware deinterlacing problem. Either live with non-accelerated deinterlacing, or search for the quartz.dll fix in the GBPVR forums.
