api call to play audio tracks in random order

i know you can just manually shuffle a list and pass that to the pluginhelper to play, but it would be much easier (from end user point of view) to just turn random on/off, that could jump to any song in the current playlist at any time, that way when the user is creating a playlist, they dont have to manually shuffle it.

so my wish a call like
pluginHelper.PlaylistRandom = true;
or something.
