Two Install Errors

I get two installation errors...the first one is skipped, and the second shuts down installation. Here they are:

Internal Error 2908
{A31FFC4C-7A78-4B48-B816-571be429ECB9}

Next one:

Error 1935. An error occurred during the installation of assembly 'wmppia, Version="9.0.0.3095", GUID=

And then there is a bunch of other stuff.

Any ideas on what's going wrong?

I have windows xp home on my machine and am trying to install the latest GB-PVR.

You might need to update your version of Windows Media Player.

You've got the required .NET 2.0 installed?
