UBUStream, MediaMVP and radio

I am trying to get a radio station (no video) to play out to my MediaMVP. My first thought was to use UBUStream to get it to work. Currently, on my computer I can get the stream in Windows Media Player. I have set up GBPVR to get this station to play in both list mode and in channel mode. It works great.

When I go out to my MediaMVP and try to play the station, Windows Media Player starts up on my computer and plays great. The problem (as you may have guessed) is that it doesn't actually stream to the MVP. I don't want the MVP to play music on my computer. That is counter productive.

I know I must be missing something silly, but the solution is eluding me.

The MVP can only play files that have (or are being) recorded, so it cannot play through WIndows Media player. You can play through VLC instead.

All Shoutcast Web radio stations work fine through an MVP though. There's more than enough to keep me interested there.

I can't get VLC to play anything from this station. I have to have this one station because of its regional broadcast. Otherwise, I would agree. There are a million better choices that I could choose.
