Dont know what i've done or changed, but since a week or so ago I don't have my commercials removes.

I have in the config "Comskip exe from current directory", not checked the "Run during...".

I also found that for some reason that my PostProcessing.bat looks like:
Code:
comskip %1
rectracker %1 > rectracker.log

so I tried to remove the first line for few days, didn't seem to make a difference.

For example, in logs, last recording was "Prison Break", today (Oct 09) between 20:00 and 21:00.

What am I missing? The only change I can think of I played with recently was the Auto convert to XVid.

I think to recall that it used to be (not sure if it's like that anymore) that if you even have a postprocessing.bat file, then the setting in the config app has no effect. Instead you will have to run comskip from your postprocessing.bat file (like in your example above). I am a bit unsure whether I'm correct on this one or not. Someone else might be able to confirm.

You didn't provide the latest versions of your log files... only the backup ones... and none of them shows any attempt to record anything Sad

madcat you take the door prize, I think you are the first one to report this problem. at least you are if you now have IE7
http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=20636

ok, if you updated to IE7 via windows update, it will break some parts of GB-PVR, specifically any processing associated with the recording service, because the recording service can no longer start processes. sorry.

Sorry, no IE7 here.

And sorry for the wrong logs. It seems that command-line zip tools will fail to get the running logs as the files are opened (although I can open them fine in notepad).

Attached are logs gathered today.
You can see that I have a lot of "database is locked". I don't know if it's
a) Harmful
b) Related.

But it shows running
Code:
Running postprocessing.bat on: C:\Media\Recordings\Prison Break\Prison Break_20061009_20002100.mpg
and the comskip file is not even created.

Can you run comskip manually? That would be the first thing I'd try if yo haven't already.

I wanted to but the only recording I have is already a DivX AVI file... comskip didn't like that as input.
I will record something today and see

Wait, wait, wait... When you use the internal convert to Divx/XViD - do you loose the comskip data? Cause now I recorded something and I have the comskip info.

I don't think comskip works on divx/xvid. Would it be worth a try to run comskip on the mpg file before any conversions?
