um... what capture card do you have, do you have gbpvr installed?
out of respect for sub I wont give you direct links to codecs, but I will say that google and the words codec pack will probably yeild favorable results.
and btw there is no legal free mpeg2 codec, because it is patented and each user must pay the patent holder (usually by buying the product)

OH, ok, so you need to change your capture quality settings, which is in the settings for each capture source. another option is to transcode the mpeg2 to something else with better compression. MEPG2 uses about 1GB per hour, +- depending on quality

I am not sure how sub feels about it to be honest, I think talking about them is fine.
I just try to be respectful about that kind of stuff.

I dont really mind if anyone posts links to other websites that contain these decoders.

I wont be hosting a decoders on my website though, or providing a downloads page with links to them - providing freely available decoders like Dscaler, gplmpgdec, etc are breaking the law since they're not paying the licensing fee to the MPEG Licensing Authority.

You have a 350, so you can download a legal one from hauppauge.Smile
AMD Athlon 64 3000, HDD: 80, 120, 200 GB, Hauppauge 350 + 150, MVP, Asus 6000L Laptop client, Asus X50sl client,
Fritz!box 7140 modem/router, GBPVR 1.3.7.
