I woke up this morning to fine that GBPVR had crashed last night, I used the standby button in the system screen like I always do. must have crashed when it went to update the EPG at 3AM... and I just got that working too. log file looked funny, a whole bunch of "flush database connections".

I also see a lot of errors about the sassari skin not supporting several plugins.
AMD Athlon 64 3000, HDD: 80, 120, 200 GB, Hauppauge 350 + 150, MVP, Asus 6000L Laptop client, Asus X50sl client,
Fritz!box 7140 modem/router, GBPVR 1.3.7.

the list of supported plugins can be found on the sassari-wiki-page. you shouldn't use the skin with unsupported plugins.

ted the penguins error is not skin-related though.

yeah, I am not using it with unsupported plugins... at least I dont think I am, have no idea why webcam is in there. I guess plain jane kinda mamed my plugins (damn looking for examples of stuff) thought I disabled all of them. I think I might do a fresh install before too long here, to get rid of all the chaff in my gbpvr directory, maybe tonight, maybe on the next release, who knows.

guess I need to make a ML2 panel for sassari... I want to get rid of that error message:p

You might want to delete the unused plugin-dll's from the plugin-dir.
AMD Athlon 64 3000, HDD: 80, 120, 200 GB, Hauppauge 350 + 150, MVP, Asus 6000L Laptop client, Asus X50sl client,

yeah I will.

and its just missing some files (the ML2 Panel). with sassari its really the plugin that doesnt support the skin. because its hardcoded to 720x480:p

looks like the theater plugin crashed it... doesnt explain the flushing database connections every second... I will leave it up so sub can check it out, but he will probably want the other log files, I couldnt see any problems in them, but thats me.

The error that ultimately killed GB-PVR the was caused by the Theatre plugin:
Quote:10/13/2006 3:00:30 AM.859 ERROR [16] FATAL UNHANDLED EXCEPTION:: System.IO.IOException: The process cannot access the file 'C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\Theater\fearless_sm.jpg' because it is being used by another process.
at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath)
at System.IO.File.Delete(String path)
at TheaterPlugin.TheaterLister..ctor(String zipcode)
at TheaterPlugin.TheaterTask.RefreshListings_Worker()

Well bugger, guess I will have to look into that. First time I have seen that error. Looks like there was an active file lock on that poster file when the plugin was trying to delete the contents of the folder. Try...Catches are a lovely thing Smile
