After several weeks of problem-free use of GBPVR, all of the sudden the ability to watch Live TV or shows recorded through GBPVR have stopped functioning. When i try to load a recorded show or Live TV, the video shows one frame and freezes, with the audio still going as normal. I have toyed w/ various options in the Config to no avail. I also reinstalled .NET as well as Hauppauge drivers to figure out why it would stop functioning. WinTV2000 works so I know it is not a hardware issue.

Any ideas on how I can fix this error? Thanks!

Well, it looks like the most likely cause is a directshow filter...

Have you installed any codecs or something recently? You could try rolling that back...

There are tools out there to help troubleshoot DirectShow issues (graphedit, ,Gspot) but be warned that it gets intense pretty quickly....

Yeah, Ton is correct.

What audio and video decoders are you using?

Yes, I just installed Xvid codecs...I'll try rolling those back.

Actually, it'd be easier if I didn't have to roll them back. Is there any other way I can handle this w/o uninstalling everything? Should I do a fresh install of GBPVR? I have installed Xvid codecs as well as ac3 filters so I can take advantage of my 5.1 sound.

Did you try fiddling with the selected audio/video decoders on the playback tab of the config app? Dont leave them on 'system default'
