thought I'd give this skin a try. I have a few questions.

Why is VA Panel turned off by default. I end up going into the skin file and turning it on, but then when I use this skin to change skins it goes back off.

If you go to the \skin\SkinPlugin\Main Menu\ folder and make changes there, those will be retained. There is the intention to have the skin plugin toggle panels, this hasn't been done yet.

I don't know if it's because I use an older version from the wiki but it seems to change the video archive skin in the actual contourHC skin.

It shouldn't have any affect on the original ContourHC skin. :confused:

My Video Archive doesn't work properly using this skin. It displays the shows (left panel) but doesn't display the episodes in the right panel...I know it's working however becuase the show description changes. When I switch back to ContourHC the Video Archive skin has changed for some reason to the blue skin and still shows the problems above. I have to copy over a backup of the archive skin to fix it.

Otherwise the skin looks great and really customizable. I look forward to change skins to suite my mood and to have a change of pace.

I found out what was wrong with my second problem where the video archive skin changes...it doesn't really. It's because I change the name of video archive to "my recordings" and when I use the system plugin to change skins something goes wrong. I just have to change skins using the config and all is well.

Using the Skin Plugin, there is now a selection for MCE2 main menu with Video Archive Panel enabled (Now Recording and Music Panel disabled.)

Video Archive listview mode bug fix.

If someone who has quite a bit of recordings on their system would post for me their "recording-dump.xml" file, I would appreciate it.

I don't save viewed programs so my list is very small, so I would use that file to "fake" having those programs when skinning a few of these plugins.

Thanks for the fixes. I've now made a couple of new permanent skins that are to my liking. Now I can choose between ContourHC, MCE and Mayhem3. My wife really likes MCE

Anyway, to my point. I have sub-menus like [tv], [music], [video] and [extras] where the brackets indicate a sub-menu so I've made a batch file that populates pictures for these menus. Here's the batch - but change as needed.

Make a custom directory in the ./skin/community/ directory and save the following as a batch in that directory. I've got it so that when I change themes I can run the batch file from my remote. Now it's all good!!!

I will see if I can add this to the SkinPlugin's config file to automatically do this for the following sub-menus when choosing task images or themes:

music
video
extras
misc
info
games
more

That is all I can think of right now.

Changes:
*OSD changes related to GBPVR v0.98.13
*Splash screen support added in the skin for possible inclusion in SkinPlugin
*MusicLibrary2, Recordings2, and SystemStatus now support Hi-Vis themes.
*Task images processed for sub-menus: Music, Video, Games, Extras, More, Info, Misc, TV, and Main Menu
*Video Library Icon and Thumbnail View supports "poster size" ratio images like DVD covers.

This installer will ask to delete the "\gbpvr\skin\skinplugin" folder and re-install it. Backup any custom edits first.

Hi Guys,

I just got round to installing the Community Skin and wanted to say what an amazing achievement this is. It's very slick and I can't believe the amount of effeort that has obviously been put into this!

I have a couple of issues that I hope can be easily resolved:

1. The most major one is that when I bring up the details popup in the TV guide I just have red X's where the buttons should be (I would provide a screenshot but i'm at work at the mo - but i'm sure you know what I mean). This is the same regardless of button style or theme. Out of interest I tried the TV listings plugin an this works OK. I suspect the TV guide is looking in the wrong place for the images but i'm not sure how to correct it.

2. On the recordings screen is there any way to increase the amount of entries in the list? Each entry seems unusually wide and I have a lot of recordings and only having 4 listed means a lot of scrolling!

3. It would be nice if there was an option to enable/disable the GBPVR logo on the man menu. There are certain combinations that make the background look really cluttered with the logo there.

I'm quite happly fiddling around with XML if you could maybe point me in the right direction for fixing any of the above.

Once again, well done on creating what I consider to be the most essential plugin i've ever seen for GBPVR - this really should be bundled as an optional install with the main program.

Just for reference i'm on a clean system install of 98.13 with no other plugins. I can't verify if it would have been OK with earlier versions of GBPVR as I didn't install it until last night after my upgrade.
