CT PVR has been about the only ad I see on the forum lately. I had to look at it. If it weren't for GBPVR I might be tempted.
What, me worry?

I will have to admit that I never see ads... adblock, although since some get credited on loading, I wil add gbpvr to the sites that load ads then removes them from my display Big Grin

How do you do that? Are you doing something clever in adblock?

no, I was thinking of a different version of adblock, or adblock plus, or something.

but what I can do. is use adblock and whitelist sites I want to see ads for, or you can use "hide ads" instead of "remove ads" in the options, that way the ads load then get removed from the screen, good for pages that rely on ads getting loaded to get paid.

I had to go register for the giveaway. I might get lucky and win a new tuner to use in my next GBpvr rig and sub should get a little revenue from CTpvr. Aren't we all better off now? Big Grin

Does having the ads display generate revenue or just clicking on them?

I have google ads blocked by my hosts file, but will change it to Ted's method if it adds to sub's revenue.

it depends on the site/ad provider. some work on load, since people presumably say your ad. others work on click. I know the google ads that are text work on click, not sure about the ads that are images
