• Fixed some more bugs from scanning - last scan time is now stored in config after a full scan - scanning was happening on almost every restart (HtV)
  
• Added audioscrobbler (Last.FM) support on tracks - add your details in the config app to have your listening tastes added to Last.FM
  
• Random seems be working again after 98.11 - issues with 98.8 stopped the random jukebox mode from working. This appears to be working again for GBPVR 98.11+ (tkgafs)
  
• Added CUE file support to Musiclibrary and to ML2Panel. Files will be identified with "(CUE)". On the playlist screen these tracks can be highlighted and the individual tracks can be viewed. The current track will be updated with the music
  
• Fixed path processing of Playlists - especially when there is not path, i.e. the m3u is in the same directory as the music - verified UNC paths as working
  

Skin File changes

• Added a @CUETrack to the Playing composite image of the ML2Panel.xml

Great, I'll try it out. I saw the scan settings in config still say: "run scan after every restart", if I understood you right this no longer applies?

Hi Psycik,

just installed ver 4

I am seeing the following in my gbpvr.exe log, I was just to about to post this about ver 3.12 when I saw ver 4 released, but the messages about "Received unknown request" are still occuring with this version

They started appearing when version 98.8 of gbpvr came out and still occur in 98.13 and happen from both ver 3.12 and 4 of musiclibrary 2

I dont know if they actually come from your plugin or not but as its the thing I use most and virtually exclusively on my MVP I thought I'd start here !!

No it shouldn't apply. What i had in there was after a scan, update the config.xml. Well ML2 was reading the config.xml for the date but not actually updating it, so it would always be less that the current day.

Now it updates it. BUT if you have your scan day set to 1 day and your scan hour set to 1 am, it will try and scan everytime it starts - since in your case you shut down gbpvr all the time.

What i have mine set up to do, is my scan hour (the time it will scan) set to 1 am, and my scan day (the amount of days between scans) set to 5, that means that every 5th days at 1 am it will try doing a full scan.

And not because it is actually updating config.xml file with when it did its last scan, it should work out better for you.

I'll have to find that option in the config app and re-word it.

Must admit I haven't tried that yet, I'll give it a go today when the wife goes to work. I only really added last.fm support in the last 2 days since I started playing with it myself (mostly at work - my username is the same BTW).

what are cue files ? are these pointers into iso images of CDs ?

I listen to a Trance radio show every week from Holland. These are 2 hour long sets, and what some people do is add a cue sheet for these large mps. So yes i think you're right that's that they were originally, but I've implememented then as a way of showing the contents of a large, radio show mp3 file. It just means it shows what track you're up to. If you're interested in seeing it going I could point you at one of the MP3 files and a cue file.

what does ml2panel do ?

ML2Panel is a panel and screen saver i wrote for myself. Displays the time normally (panel or screen saver) then if music is playing, it shows the track name, album art, and now the cue track thats if up to. It also detects if gb is recording and shows a red recording button.

Kind of like reven's musicpanel, but simplier. It's been there a while but I guess I haven't written much about it in the wiki so it's my own stupid fault that no-one uses it.

this is a one time error from updating the format of the last scan date in the config.xml

dunno what these are, it this while it trying to play music?? You might need to pass on to sub, in the main forum...

I'll try today to test the random stuff on the mvp, but it was working great on the pc yesterday (random start new playlist). Haven't tested fully on the mvp yet, but hopefully it should have gone back to pre 98.8 functionality since sub seems to have fixed whatever bug was stopping the notify.

Hi Psycik,

I seem to have found a bug in the latest version

when running on my MVP if I am on the library window the screen saver works correctly

If I then go to the playlist window the screensaver works correctly

But if I then press the go button on my remote to bring the screen back on, now the screensaver does not work and the playlist window remains on screen, and is not updated when tracks change

If I then go back to the library window the screen saver kicks in again and if I then return to the playlist window the screen saver works until I press the go button then we go round the same loop again

Ahh, you might be right, on the pc I get a windows error. Have fixed it, but need to test it on the mvp. I'll do that tomorrow an post a fix.
