My video recently became fuzzy, like bad cable. I kinda doubt it is a software issue but maybe someone has some idea. I have tried the cable connections, and reseating the card (PVR 150). It is very frustrating. I only use it for DVR and watch my video elsewhere, I do get a few shows recorded that are fine but most are blurry.

Maybe you installed some software thats changed the video decoders on your machine?

Would that affect live tv or watching recordings on another machine?

No. If the recording is bad, then playing it from another machine will also be bad. If that is the case, maybe you have bad reception?

Reception is fine, cable comes out of the wall into a splitter, from there to a TV(that's fine) and my PC. It all started when I dusted out my machine(removed all cards and blew out with air). Don't know if I was clear earlier but it works fine sometimes, not as much as it doesnt work, of course.

Ok I just got back from vacation and tried hooking up the cable that normally goes to my PC straight to a TV, the signal looked fine there. So I installed winTV32 off the cd ran thru the set up on it and surfed thru some channels. It looked good. Opened up GBPVR and still have fuzzy video.
