Is the CAPTCHA on the search necessary?

Do we really need to enter the image verification to search the forums? Can this be disabled, sub?

Well, nevermind, it isn't there anymore.

I guess that is what happens when I log out.....silly me.

Yeah, it only happens when the user isnt logged in,
