A little investigation on my part determines that the "exit on the hour" occurs on more than just the one front end. A second front end Desktop PC with monitor exhibits the same behaviour as the family room pc connected to a tv.
Possibly server related? Just guessing here.
Thanks you as always for your continued support!

I'm getting digital audio glitches/stutters on the hour or even every half hour if the current show ends on a x:30 boundary. Does anyone else notice any audio/video slowdowns when gbpvr sets up the new show progress bar and associated buffers/files etc? Would adding more memory help (currently 512MB)? Would adding a second hard drive help?
The glitch is pretty major in my case (2-3 seconds). I use XGuide, does gbpvr request anything from the guide replacement plugin or any other plugins at change of show? Perhaps a plugin or other is slowing the show changeover.
