0.98.13b bug with config.xml settings?

Hi,

I have noticed some strange behaviour with the config tool and it being out of sync with config.xml
I particularly noticed two items as they are visible and therefore easy to notice, 1. screensaver returns to enabled after being disabled previously. 2. show splassh screen turning off after being previously enabled.

it would seem if you have show splashe screen enabled and you have screen saver disabled you run fine and the next time you go into the config utility and change anything these paramters are set back to their default settings and not what you had set earlier.

Yes, this has been pointed out a few times, and fixed for the next release. The splash screen and screen saver settings were swapped when they were loaded.

So is there a way to get the SS working? I'm not sure if this is what happening to the others, but I have no screen saver at all. Scary with a new plasma that havent been "broken in" yet...:eek:

As I said above, its just a problem with it reversing the setting when loading the config app. Just set the settings you way you want them, then click the OK button in the config app. (next time you start the config app, it'll reverse them again, so make sure you set them back to how you want them)
