Community Skin version 1.0 released.

If someone who has quite a bit of recordings on their system would post for me their "recording-dump.xml" file, I would appreciate it.

I don't save viewed programs so my list is very small, so I would use that file to "fake" having those programs when skinning a few of these plugins.

I am using the Community skin and I like it very much. I have no problems with the recording screens and and attaching the log (I hope) in response to your request.

I have a problem, which are not likely related to the skin, but I'm not sure. The release post said that "showsearch" was supported but I don't see it on the screen even though I have downloaded the plugin.

Thanks, yes showsearch is supported, I justed tweaked it yesterday. If you want, post your logs and I'll take a look.

I have been working on alternative skins for the video archive, show search, weather, and music player plug-ins. I will post them as soon as they are ready (probably another week or so) if you'd like to take a look.

I think most/all of the other failed copies were task images.
Is there a way to capture the output to a file?

McBainUK would have to do something to provide this. The reason for you seeing those errors is for example, if there is a task image named music.png in the task images folder, it will be copied to all the music plugins.

So the one music.png image can be used in place of several copies of maybe the same thing. I don't have a unique My Music_Task.png file, so you see that copy error. However, I haven't made sure all task image changes work with every plugin yet. (I will for full 2.0 release.)

Another issue I had was when I was using the Screen Saver Plugin I would get an error stating ' Error: C:\Program Files\Devnz\gbpvr\.\skin\Community\ScreenSaverPlugin\TV Channel Screen Saver\preview.jpg'
I would get this error if i tried clicking the main menu button for screen saver or it would pop up as a windows error when the screen saver was supposed to come on and gbpvr would quit.

EDIT - The exact error is
System.IO.FileNotFoundException: C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\.\skin\Community\ScreenSaverPlugin\TV Channel Screen Saver\preview.jpg

Carlito, copy the "\ScreenSaverPlugin\TV Channel Screen Saver" folder from the blue skin over to community. I missed that in the latest release of the plugin.

I have a lot of files that are called logs. I checked what logs other people seemed to attach. I think the GBPVR.exe1.zip is the zip file of the log and the other one is the zip file of the program itself. If I was supposed to attach another log, which ones should I attach?

I have gbpvr.exe-1.log; gbpvr.exe-2.log; gbpvr.exe-3.log; gbpvr.exe-native-1.log; gbpvr.exe-native-2.log; gbpvr.exe-native-3.log as well as config.exe logs with the same extension, and gbpvrrecording service logs with the same set of extensions and gbpvrtray logs with the same series of extensions.

In my plugin directory, I have a file called Show Search.dll and in the main directory, I have a file called uninst show search plugin.exe but I don't see any file that says Show Search.exe. Is that the problem? If so, was there something else I was supposed to do besides click on the install Show search icon?

I read that you are busy on the weekends. I am in no rush and appreciate any help you can give whenever you can give it.

Have you installed the video archive plug-in? Show search needs some of the files installed by that plug-in order to work. You do not need to enable the video archive plug-in, but you do need to have it installed.
