Unhandled Exception Error When Restarting Recording Service

I'm getting an "Unhandled Exception Error" whenever I restart the Recording Service.

It keeps asking to launch the Visual Studio Just-In-Time-Debugger, but it can never "attach" to the crashing process.

I contacted Microsoft to install the .NET 2.0 hotfix from "Article ID:923028", but that doesn't help.

The Event Viewer shows the following:

Its a bug thats been there for a several releases. One of these days I'll get around to fixing it...

I'll try the .NET remove/reinstallation.

I hope it works, 'cause I sure wouldn't be too excited at the thought of recreating my current profile from scratch!
