New release!

I have just added support for NBA and College Basketball. Enjoy!

http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Plugin/SportsScores

On a side note -- how many of you actually use this plugin?

If you do use it, do you have any issues with it or recommendations?

I don't get a lot of feedback on it, so I am just curious.

i use it and <3 it!

my only request would be to add the point spreads for the games (if available)

i am not sure where you obtain the information for the sport scores, but i could provide some links on where the lines are.

let me know if interested.

good job, i appreciate this plugin.

good job, i appreciate this plugin.

I use the following links for the data:

CFL: http://tsn.ca/cfl/scores/?date=
CollegeBasketball: http://www.sportsline.com/print/collegeb...coreboard/
CollegeFootball: http://www.sportsline.com/print/collegef...coreboard/
MLB: http://www.sportsline.com/print/mlb/scoreboard/
NBA: http://www.sportsline.com/print/nba/scoreboard/
NFL: http://www.sportsline.com/print/nfl/scoreboard/
NHL: http://www.sportsline.com/print/nhl/scoreboard/
Soccer: http://soccernet.espn.go.com/scoreboard?...ll&cc=5901
Tennis: http://www.sportsline.com/print/tennis/scoreboard/
WorldCup: http://www.sportsline.com/print/worldcup/scoreboard/

...and unfortunately do not have the point spreads in them. The trick would be to find a link that is:

1) Easy to parse
2) Has the spreads / venue / game time
3) Updates in real time as the game progresses

From what I have seen, #3 is usually the toughest requirement to meet.

Spartan,

I use it and was going to ask if you could add college basketball but obviously too late. Thanks!

I use it for NFL play times and scores and love it.

However, lately, I have had one issue. The play times are off by 1 hour. I live in the EST time zone and I think it became a problem when we adjusted our clocks for daylight savings time at the end of October.

I have tried the ticker, but found it annoying to have it popup while watching a movie during the week.

It would be nice if the sports scores could be displayed on the main GBPVR screen and in the screen saver where the weather and stock quotes are displayed.
