OK, this is obviously a daft question since I've searched and searched the forum/wiki/etc and can't find an answer... but can someone explain how to map my DVB-T digital channels to the XMLTV channels I've imported?

For example in the following screenshot I want to map the digital channel "BBC ONE" to the XMLTV channel "BBC1 London & South East" but I can't find any way of doing so.

Is there some sort of magic button/keypress I need to find to make this happen? I've tried right-clicking (everywhere), dragging and dropping etc etc and just cannot find a way of getting these channels mapped.

Can anyone tell me where I'm going wrong?!

OK, it seems the "EPG Plugin" for my capture source reverted back to "DVB EPG Broadcast" somehow so the mapping dropdowns weren't present (I guess you need to save the configuration before trying to map channels?)

So the first problem is solved, and I've managed to map some of the XMLTV channels to the correct digital channels. Now the only problem is they have different names to the originals, so my Channel Icons don't work, and there doesn't seem to be any way of renaming the channels in GBPVR.

What can I do to fix this (or do I just need to rename the channel icon GIFs)?

I think this area might be a prime candidate for some usability improvements in future versions (eg it's a real pain having to save and re-enter config for changes to be picked up on different pages). It's really, really not obvious how to configure these steps without a serious amount of trial and error.

You'll need to rename your channel icons.

OK, after some copying/renaming and general bodging around, I finally have all my channels working with EPG data & icons (yay!) - apart from one tricky b*gger...

The channel name downloaded from XMLTV is "TMF: The Music Factory" - but of course I can't create an icon file with a colon in the filename. Is there any way around this or will I have to leave this one sticking out like a sore thumb?!

Ok, I've added ":" to the characters stripped from the name when looking for the icon in the next release. ie, it'll look for "TMF The Music Factory.gif" etc. You'll just have to live with it for now.
