You’re welcome.
And thanks, it’s nice to know people other than myself are getting some good from the find channel.
I will take a look at adding the extra date option when I get time.

I use XRecord's "seen it" occasionally and haven’t had any problems. But I did add movies to the RecTracker ignore list (using the batch below), because quite a few movie titles exceed the RecTracker 50-character title limit.
Code:
CD /d "C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\"
RecTracker -addignore (
pause

One other thing to check is that RecTracker is actually working and adding recordings to its database. MDB Viewer Plus works great for viewing the database.

Here ya go, give it a try and let me know if you have any problems. Wink
It may be a while before I use it myself, and the only test I did was a quick one to verify the date was added to the subtitle.

From the included Update Notes.txt

Code:
I-xmltv v1.3c  (build 11/16/06)

When added to "SET TVSwitches=" in UpdateEPG.bat
/sd/() = Adds (Original-Air-Date) to the end of the subtitle.
/ds/() = Adds (Original-Air-Date) to the beginning of the subtitle, after the episode / production number.

The trailing slash and the brackets are optional.
/sd    = 11-16-06
/sd/() = (11-16-06)

Can anyone tell me why I get only one program per channel in my guide? That is, going across horizontally I see only one program listed and the rest of space to the right is just empty.

Please help as soon as you can. Dr. Who is on tomorrow evening...

Could be almost anything, my first question would have to be.
Does it work properly using the native gbpvr zap2it plugin? If so, switch back to what works. Wink

If you’re only receiving a single hour download using both the native gbpvr zap2it plugin, and the xmltv.exe downloader.
The “only” workaround I personally know of for the zap2it / network download issue is linked in post #1 of this thread.
If the workaround I’m using doesn’t work doesn’t work for you, read this post because zap2it wants you to report the issue so they can find a fix.

<edit> Another thing to try is this older version of xmltv.exe
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/xmltv...p?download

To know for sure what the problem is:
Make sure your gbpvr logging is set to “debug” in config, and do an epg update.
Immediately after the epg update completes, zip your gbpvr logs (gbpvr folder), I-xmltv.log and xmltv.log (I-xmltv folder).
Start a topic in the support forum and post the logs.
I’ll check the xmltv logs to verify you have a proper epg file, then sub can check the gbpvr logs for problems.

If you want to see how many listings you are downloading, simply open xmltv.log or I-xmltv.log in the I-xmltv folder. Either of them will tell you how many listings you downloaded.

Thanks Jim. The older version of xmltv seems to have done the trick.

Your welcome,
I’ll probably update to 1.3c myself later this evening. Now that you've tested it for me. Big Grin

Glad it worked!
The older xmltv.exe version sends a shorter request to zap2it, the author said it could make a difference for some people that were on the fringe.
And just in time for Doctor Who!
Hope it's a good one this week.

Hi Jim,

I'm getting my Fusion HDTV5 Lite card going again. I've finally got it showing video now, (decoders issue), and I'm testing other decoders and defragmenting drives to reduce some minor studder.

For this card to work with my system along with my PVR-150 card I had to setup a 2nd channel lineup which actually has to be on a separate account in Zaplabs. Is the multi-channel lineup programming setup for these 2 accounts like I have it or is it just for one zaplabs account with 2 lineups in it?

Also, looking at the date of the I-xmltv.exe file in the multichannel folder, it looks like it is from the 1.3a version of I-xmltv. Would you need to update this file with the 1.3b updates as well as the newest 1.3c update for the original air date option?

Thanks,
GaretMax

One account with two lineups.
xmltv has the ability to download multiple lineups from a single zap2it account at the same time.

It was included as an unsupported add-on for people who wanted to experiment with the included batch, and has never been updated. I-xmltv v1.2 is included because it’s the last version that will work with UpdateEPG.bat, as supplied. The batch is also limited to incremental downloads. It needs some time spent on it for single file (non-incremental) & v1.3 support, but only two people have asked about it. Wink

But there are some options you can try.
I guess you could always select I-xmltv for one lineup, and use the native zap2it plugin for the other. I haven’t tried it, but the procedure outlined below may work. Let me know if it does!

Make a copy of your existing I-xmltv folder and name it “C:\I-xmltv2\”.
Update the program locations in "C:\I-xmltv2\UpdateEPG.bat"
Code:
REM *** Program locations ***
SET GBPVR_DIR="C:\Program Files\Devnz\GBPVR\"
SET XMLTV_Prog="C:\[B]I-xmltv2[/B]\xmltv.exe"
SET I-xmltv_DIR="C:\[B]I-xmltv2[/B]\"
Run –configure.bat from the I-xmltv2 folder (after you update the paths) and setup your second account.
Then add these lines at the end of your existing "C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\UpdateEPG.bat"
Code:
:end
REM *** If you need to add commands to UpdateEPG.bat, do it below this line ***
[B]CD /d "C:\I-xmltv2"
call UpdateEPG.bat[/B]

Jim,

I looked through some old posts and found where Sub told me to setup 2 different zap accounts because of my 2 cards with the 2 different lineups.

Dated 11-15-05 from Sub "GB-PVR will only process the first channel lineup. Try creating a second account for this extra channel lineup instead."
http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=1661&page=3
It sounds like this statement from Sub might not apply anymore? Is that correct?

I'm going to start testing some things today to see what happens.

Thanks,
GaretMax
