Nothing special is needed.....when you install GBPVR it installs the Web admin.

These updates simply overlay what is found in the gbpvr\web dirctory and subdirctories.

As the wiki instructs you can delete eveything under the web directory except for the bin directory. And you can delete the Ajax Prod and ICSHarpCode files from the bin directory. Then unzip the contents to the gbpvr directory.

From wiki:
  • Download a copy from a link above
  • Stop the Recording Service
  • Delete all contents and directories in the gbpvr\web folder (except for the bin directory…removing this will cause GBPVR to reinstall the default Web Admin)
  • Delete only the AjaxPro2.dll and the ICSharpCode.SharpZipLib.dll files from the gbpvr\web\bin direcotry
  • If a gbweb.dll file exists in the gbpvr\web\bin directory it should be deleted
  • Extract the zip into your gbpvr folder using the option to use dirctory names. This will load all the files into your gbpvr\web directory and subdirectories.
  • Restart the Recording Service
  • Hit Refresh in your Web Browser (important to reload cached files that might have changed)
What isn't working for you?

did you check the config and make sure it is still checked to show them? Simple I know....but I have seen it happen before.

Nothing has changed in this release that would impact that and if you reverted back a release and they still are not showing it sounds as though the option in Config was set to not show them.

Do you know why I can't view the EWA on local:host nor on through the internet using Dyndns. I know it's active.

If the post above this one didn't help I don't know what to say.....is EWA enabled in the GBPVR Config?

UncleJohnsBand Wrote:Ok...let me know. The only valid zapdb should be the zapdb.db3 file......xrecord will install a zapdb.mdb file......I have updated ewa to only identify the .db3 file for the next release.

Looks like removing the old mdb did the trick, it's working fine now.
Thanks again Smile

found the error ... everytime gbpvr grabs epg via dvb stream i get strange extra channel names ... and exactly then ewa can't show the channel icons ...
