First congratulations for this realy nice piece of work.
I have tested the 29-11 download over the weekend. The reason of having a look here was because of the lack of maintenance of my favourite ContourHC skin.

What I noticed is that it now takes 2 minutes before my GBPVR client on the server starts. It is unclear to me how i must properly uninstall the plugin. I did remove stuff from the 'plugins dir' and I deleted some files from the gbpvr dir. Unfortunately it remains slow.

Secondly I found the font in the contourHC look-alike rather big (I remember somebody else posted this comment as well).

Once I have resolved the slowness of my GBPVR client I will defintely try again

Are you using the ContourHC or the HiVis-ContourHC theme? All HiVis themes have larger fonts.

Not sure why it is slow, will have to set up a client to check out performance. If you remove the skinplugin from plugins folder does it speed up performance?

What plugins are you using for the client, so I can compare.

thanks for the response,
I am not at my machine at the moment. I think I was using the HiVis. Apart from your stuff I had the plugins as indicated in my signature. I have not tried this on the PC client, but on the GBPVR server.

I had removed the SKIN plugin before I reported.

After I rebooted the machine the GBPVR client was responsive again as before. I normally do not reboot that machine, as it tends not to recognise one of the drives at reboot.

For the time being don't bother. I hope I have time to test again at the end of this month.

Ok, just wasn't clear on your first post you removed the SkinPlugin, that is why I asked.

I still may check out the Client and compare it to blue using the same plugins to see if there is a performance issue. If restarting clears up the issue, and doesn't return, then maybe something in the mix didn't like how the install is done.
