Here is an interesting one: I have my PVR-150 set up so that I can tune either an analog channel directly with the card, or use the S-Video input along with an external channel changer in order to record from a HD cable box. That works fine.

I also have another (non-HD) cable box that I'm modulating to channel 77 inside the house. Would it be possible to set up a gbpvr recording mode whereby I could have it tune to channel 77 on the PVR-150's internal tuner and also invoke an external channel changer program in order to tune the cable box to the actual digital channel I want to record? This would not be something I might want to do often so even a workaround style solution would be ok. If there was a way to schedule just a channel change (but without recording) then I would see myself first scheduling an analog channel change to channel 77, and then scheduling a recording with the S-Video input and channel changer program...

Yes, you can do this. You'd need to setup an additional capture source, set to use the internal tuner, with the 'fixed channel, external tuner' option, with the channel set to 77. You'd also need to configure the EPG appropriately so GB-PVR would know which channels are available via this input. You can set the 'channel changer' to anything you want.

Neat. Looks like you thought of everything! ;-)

I'll give it a try someday.
