My setup is shown below in my signature. I am sending out a 1080i component signal to my display. Right now I am just watching standard definition analog signals which, I suppose, are being upscaled by the GPU to 1080i. Using VMR9, there is a substantial amount of "jerkyness" in the video both real time and recorded media. If I do nothing but switch to VMR7 things are VERY much improved; very smooth playback. Is this a problem with the GPU, the video decoder (nvidia Pure video), the quartz.dll bug or something else. If this has been addressed elsewhere please provide a link.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Bill
