Hi there again,
Live TV is fine now

Another question:
Is it possible to set the Timeshift quality(mpeg bitrate..etc.)
and the size of the buffer

(I found a thread about the registry setting , but I don't really know how to find it on my computer [Image: biggrin.gif]

Thanks

Yes, you can edit it in the config application. Edit your capture source, then select the "settings button" on the recorder plugin. At the button is a list of the profiles, select the LiveTV profile, thei select "edit".

Its not a fixed buffer size. It's always recording programme sized chunks. These are treated as an hour long if you dont have EPG info.

If you press "pause", you can remain paused as many hours as you like (assuming your free hard drive space will permit).

Ah, that's good to know

Another question(I know it should be under "whishlist&quotWink

Is it possible to record (timeshift) the channel switchings in one continuous file (maybe without this 1 hour limitation)?

a bug: after using the program I cannot watch WinTV2000 tv out because I still see the blue overlay screen from GBPVR....reboot solves the problem

Thanks

If you have guide information, then record a continuous file for each programme. If you watch a 3 hour movie, you'll get one file. Without guide information, you're stuck with one hour blocks.

You could try this: http://home.vr-web.de/~stefan-siegl/xmltv/tv_grab_ch/

I have no idea why this bug appears or if there is anything you can do about it, but I guess an easier workaround than to reboot would be to run the script wake.cmd which you can find in the hibernation thread. Perhaps you can modify it a bit for your needs. I'm not positive it would workd, since I haven't tried it myself for this particular issue, but it's worth a shot =)
