Community Skin version 1.0 released.

I don't know why I have been so late to this party, but all I can say is fantastic work. Absolutely incredible!

... no more installing a new skin and then having to poke around in it to get it to work with my plugin choices; and then ending up with something that doesn't look uniform anyway. Outstanding: I installed it last night and then stayed up until 1:00AM playing with it...

Couple of questions: The "next recording" panel no longer seems to show the next two or three scheduled; only the next one. Is this by design or have I buggered something up?

Also, the music panel seems a bit small and I wanted to tweak it a little; which I am happy to do, but will future updates overwrite this?

The "next recording" you are referring to is probably using the VA panel? It has options to display x number of pending recordings.

Well, I was planning on releasing version 2.0 today, but might look at your issues to see what is possible to be done. (I have messed with the panels since the last release)

That being said, here is how I would make any custom changes.

Start with identifying which main menu you are going to modify (ie BlueMCE2, Sassari, H-MVP, ect.).

Browse to the "..\gbpvr\skin\skinplugin\mainmenus" folder and find the menu folder you are going to modify, and make a copy with a different name (ie "My BlueMCE2")

Inside that folder, make changes to the main menu skin.xml file or panel xml files as needed.

Fire up gb-pvr and use the skin plugin to select your main menu to test results.

The installer for the 2.0 release will erase this custom mod (so back it up to a safe location), but subsequent updates will not. The reason it will delete everything is because I have moved more files around and I need to be sure the files don't exist in the old locations or it will cause problems.

All panels included in main menus (not all on by default).
GB-PVR v0.99+ Compatible. (including top secret stuff until next week or so)

I need to add a few screen caps from my HTPC tonight for the Live Guide SkinMod selection, and look into a few VA panel issues, and will be all set.
