Avermedia m150 Recording Resolutions

I setup the Medium quality resolution for my m150 to 352x480 but the actual recording came out at 720x480.

It doesn't seem that this card accepted the instruction to record at 352x480? Or, is it not capable of 352x480?

BTW, I tried the same thing with my PVR-150 and it worked fine (i.e. output was at 352x480).

I also noticed that the audio of the m150 is at 384 kbit/s when 224 was specified in Medium. And, again, no problem with the PVR-150 (output is 224).

It is making me wonder if the quality settings are recognized by the m150 card at all.

GB-PVR is unable to change the resolution and audio bitrate with this device. The manufacturer uses a proprietary interface I dont have access to for changing these settings.

It should be accepting video bitrate and encoding type though (varible vs constant etc).
