Avermedia Analog USB DVD Ezmaker C039

Would anyone know if the Avermedia Analog USB DVD Ezmaker C039 will work with NPVR? Right now I'm running Linux but having trouble with video drivers and will happily go with Windows if I can record with the hardware I have. I'm a long time GPBVR user anyway.

For analog devices, NextPVR requires them to have a tuner. Unfortunately this 'Avermedia Analog USB DVD Ezmaker C039' device doesn't have a tuner, so wont be usable in NextPVR.

You could connect it to a STB if the goal is to record tv shows. Anyway you need to have the SoftPVR package (from Hauppauge) installed for an analog device to work.

Oh s¤%&, I was planning to buy a cheap analog capture for digitizing old VHS tapes, but it does not have a tuner. No good idea I suppose :o
